LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 is a pro American basketball player. King James has been widely considered to be one of history's most outstanding basketball players. Michael Jordan is usually considered when discussing who is the best player. James was awarded two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James is the holder of the most amount of points scored during the post-season, second best all-time score, and the 7th the most assists in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was selected as a member of the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times in succession between 2011 and 2018. In 2018 He was also picked for The NBA 75th Anniversary team. In 2021, James was chosen to join be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete in NBA history to score at least 10,000 career points in rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. National media touted James as a possible NBA superstar. In 2003 it was the year that it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly was one of the league's best athletes, winning the NBA MVP title in both 2009 & the year 2010. James went free agency in 2010, after he failed to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent moves in sports history.
