Patricia Apollonia Kotero has been model and actress in the United States over a long period of time. Kotero was the female lead singer for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. In the 80s, the actor-singer Prince named Apollonia was one of many female artists to gain from their association with the prince. Patricia Kotero, born 1959 in Santa Monica California began her career as an actress and model. The latter part of the 70s was when she was a guest on CHiPS. In 1984 she landed the female lead for Prince's Purple Rain (during which time he altered her name) and replaced Vanity in the female trio Vanity 6 singing with them in the film with the title Apollonia 6. Sex Shooter on the soundtrack was a minor popularity for her group, however as Prince's duet partner in Take Me with You she had more success. Kotero and Prince have a disagreement over her future career. Apollonia6 broke up and Kotero was not able to continue her relationship with Prince.
