Jill Hennessy

Her multi-ethnic heritage includes Irish Italians, Swedish, Italians french, Ukrainians, and Italians. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. Jill became fluent in several languages, including Italian, French, Spanish while growing up. She became interested in the world of acting when she was 12. Her career as an actor began in Toronto where she was an actress in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. She then studied improv-comedy at Second City with Deb Kimmet. When she moved into New York, Claire signed an agreement for two years for Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. For the duration of her 3 year stint as a character, she also had the privilege of working in feature films like RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). The years following she was offered roles in several forgettable films. In 1999, she got a role as the lead in the mini-series uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed, as did Exit Wounds. The actress was offered a leading role on NBC's crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the series she was recognized by Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Lead in a Drama Series". In 2000, she got married to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. They have two children. She was honored in 2007 with a place in Canada's Walk of Fame.
